In 2001, Jabaru's debut album won the prestigious Sunni Award for the Best Album of the Year in the Folk/Ethnic Catagory at the Queensland Recording Association Awards.
It is a unique international journey featuring native chants and African, Middle Eastern and Celtic influences. The Album builds from warm, rich and ambient to a punchy tribal finish. It is a mixture of intrumental and vocal tracks.
